📜 Educational Qualification
Four-year Graduation Degree (B Tech / BE or
equivalent) in Fire Technology / Fire Engineering/ Safety and Fire Engineering from college/University approved by AICTE/UGC
OR
Bachelor’s degree from any University recognized by AICTE/UGC
And
Divisional officer course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.
OR
Bachelor’s degree from any University recognized by AICTE/UGC
And
Sub-officer Course/ Station Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate with 2 years’ experience.
📌 Selection Procedure
Physical Standards:
a) Height: 167 cm and Chest: 80 cm with an expansion of 5 cm (For residents of hill areas height may be 162 cm, Chest – 76 cm with an expansion of 5 cm)
b) Should possess sound health free from defect/deformity/disease
c) Vision in both eyes should be 6/12 (without glasses)
d) There should be no colour blindness
(Candidate claiming relaxation in height and chest will have to produce the certificate to this effect from the competent authority viz. Deputy Commissioner/Distt. Magistrates/Tehsildars of their places of residency)
Duties of Assistant Fire Officer Job
1. Carry out risk assessments and development of the institutes policies, standards and plans for fire and disaster management; draw up fire and disaster management plans of Institute responsible for the design of emergency plans.
2. Monitor and ensure that safety standards and fire prevention steps are being adhered to.
3. Ensure that fire and disaster handling procedures are followed and the required equipment is tested periodically.
4. Liaise with local fire services of State Govt. and District Disaster Management Authority.
5. Train fire wardens i.e., security supervisors etc. in fire prevention, disaster preparedness planning, rescue and evacuation operations.
6. Train staff in fire prevention, disaster preparedness planning, rescue and evacuation operations and evacuation drills.
7. Organize spot checks to assess for fire and other hazards around the campus including indoor areas.
8. Arrange for regular fire alarm tests and fire drills.
9. To carry out all works assigned by the Executive Director (or his nominee) connected with the fire and disaster prevention and other risk hazards.
General Conditions Fire Officer Job in Uttar Pradesh
1. The Executive Director, AIIMS Raebareli reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies withdraw the process in full or in part and also the right to reject any or all applications received without assigning any reasons or giving notice etc.
2. The appointment is for a period of 01 year on contract basis and is not extendable beyond 01 year.
3. The appointee shall perform the duties as assigned to him/her. The competent authority reserves the right to assign any duty as and when required. No extra/additional remuneration will be admissible in case of such assignment.
4. The appointment to the said post will be subject to medical fitness from the competent Medical Board for which he/she will be sent to the designated Medical Authority of the Institute.
5. The appointee is not entitled to any TA/DA for the written examination as well as for Interview.
6. If any declaration given or information furnished by him/her proves false or if he/she is found to have wilfully suppressed any material information, he/she will be liable for removal from service and also such other action as the institute may deem necessary.
7. The decision of the competent authority regarding selection of candidates will be final and no representation will be entertained in this regard.
8. Incomplete applications in any aspect will be summarily rejected.
9. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the institute reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidate.
10. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of submitted information, other documents and photograph. Submission of any false and/or suppression/concealment of facts shall lead to rejection/cancellation of selection/recruitment.
