Fire NOC Policy – Following the tragic Jabalpur hospital fire in 2022, where the facility’s Fire NOC had expired, the Madhya Pradesh government decided to cease issuing provisional Fire NOCs. Now, a full inspection and approval are mandatory before any Fire NOC is granted to institutional buildings, including hospitals.
Pending Fire NOC Applications in Bhopal:
As of the latest reports, 64 applications for Fire NOCs from nursing homes in Bhopal are pending approval. This backlog highlights the need for streamlined processes and stricter compliance with fire safety norms.
